Dreams coming true!
Are you a dreamer? Do you wonder about impossible things or things that seem out of reach? I have not been a good dreamer. I usually lean towards the practical but God is showing me that that is not my true nature.
My daughter asked me to list 100 dreams. This was such a challenge for me. I managed to write down 44 dreams so far. Some of my dreams are “bucket list”, some are goals, some are hopes and some are life changers.
Today I did number 13 on my list. I went Paragliding in Aspen. I have always wondered what it would be like to fly. High above the trees and rivers. Soaring with the wind. I love watching birds fly and have always been amazed by it.

That’s me!
Standing on a steep mountain with all the gear, I found myself calm. I thought I would be more nervous but I was just happy. And then the instructor said go, go, go. I then ran off a perfectly good mountain. It was all that I thought it would be. It was peaceful and fun at the same time. Overlooking the Roaring Fork Valley, high above, was so beautiful. We were able to catch a thermal updraft and went up higher than usual. My instructor said, you must have done something right. I thought no, but knew it was gift from Jesus. All good things come from God.
Today’s dream fulfillment was a bucket list dream. I honestly thought this was out of reach for me. It’s expensive for starters. But God. Don’t you love those two words, but God. God made a way, and my parents gifted me this Paraglide adventure. They knew that it was a dream for me and made it possible. Every one of my dreams and yours is possible with God. (Luke 1:37)
I want to honor God in all that I do and I believe that it is honoring God to go for it! Jesus came so that we may have life and life to the full. (John 10:10) When we are going after our dreams, it helps us share how good God is and reveal his character to those around us.
It’s never too late and I hope you find this encouraging to write down your 100 dreams. A couple great books that I have found helpful are Dreaming with God by Bill Johnson and Dream Culture by Andy & Janine Mason.
Let’s dream and change the world! I would love to know what your dreams are. Please share below.
You are the best!
