Now What:

Grate the bar of Fels-Naptha.  ( I use my food processor.) Combine all ingredients into a bowl and stir.

I use 1/8 of a cup per load.  (Any type of washing machine.) Clothes come out clean and sparkle!

Side Note:

This is a so cheap! It costs about $2.80 for 40 loads.  Compared to Tide at $9.24 for 40 loads.

This is a common recipe for homemade laundry detergent.  When I went to purchase the ingredients, they were side by side at the store.

I had never heard of Fels-Naptha before but it’s been around for over 100 years.  It is a great stain remover.  It looks like a bar of soap.  Simpley wet the end of the bar and rub on tough stains, wait a few before throwing in the washer and voila!
