Collin’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. These cookies are the perfect combination!

Organic Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons of baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 12-ounce bag of 60% dark chocolate chips
Now What:
Mix the dry ingredients first then add the butter, shortening, vanilla, and eggs. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Collin’s method is unconventional but his cookies turn out perfect every time.
Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
*This recipe was developed at a high elevation, 6,200 feet, and may need a little converting for where you live.
