All of the Suzy Homemaker ingredients are chosen for the nutrient value along with their healing properties. Using creams/lotions that are natural or organic is not only good for your skin it is good for the planet.

Many cosmetic products have ingredients that cause the product to “feel good” or “feel luxurious” but they ultimately are not good for your skin.

For example, soap does not naturally lather. In order to make a soap lather/bubble,  an ingredient is added. Then we want the soap to smell good, so a synthetic fragrance is added, etc… All of these extras that we have come to expect, can cause allergies and when not from natural ingredients can be harmful to your skin. The truth is, a soap does not need to lather too clean. But we all have expected it too and therefore demand it from our products.

When we would camping, we would use Castile soap for our dishes and ourselves. It is good for the environment. If you have ever used Castile soap you know that it cleans but does not lather and that is hard to get used to. The same theory applies to all cosmetics and skincare. We need to adjust our mindsets and just look for the results.
